assessments. Easy-to-use and administer, these tools
help you assess your student. The goal of the
assessments is to obtain information about your
student’s progress in order to determine how you,
the teacher, can better assist your student.
We have included here the first
and last assessments in The Blue Book in
order to help you decide where to place your student
within the series. For a first grade student, begin
evaluation with the first Blue Book
assessment. Proceed until you determine the best
placement for your student.

correctly write the words made up by those
