About us

We are a literary journal that aims to build a community of young writers. We seek to give students a place to be inspired by their peer’s work and to have a clear goal with their writing. One of the strongest motivators for a writer is to share their work and see it in an official publication.

How to submitWord count: 3,000 words or less
Age: 18 years old and younger Reading period (when to submit): February 16 - May 16 and August 16 - November 16 Reporting time: You can expect to hear whether your submission has been accepted or not within three weeks of your submission. How to submit: Send your submission through email to thealpinepath@commonsensepress.com. Be sure to include in the subject line: Submission (Your name and age). You may submit up to 5 pieces of any genre during a reading period. You may submit an unlimited amount of artwork. Accepts simultaneous submissions: Yes Accepts previously published work: Yes |
